having archie around is a delight. he loves to laugh, has a great smile, and is generally content with whatever we have going on. he's also quick on his feet and loves to rearrange things around the house, so he keeps us on our toes. he still needs a translator to communicate with anyone outside our family, but these are some of his most common words so far:
- biiiiiite! = please give me some of your food
- ball ball = this one is obvious, but it's how jack said it too
- pi pi = a mini orange cloud car from star wars
- wawa = water
- nack = snack
and then there are the things that are part of every conversation and come out a million times a day, but i don't ever want to forget:
- uh-huh = initially this was his answer to any question he was asked
- uuuuummmmm... = we transitioned to this as his go to response
- k. = his acknowledgment of anything that is said to him
- ME!!! ME!!! = look at me immediately
- MOOOOOM!!!!!! = it's not the frequency so much as the volume. it's just. so. loud.
